Pick-up Skirt technique

**To clarify, you need to have a lining for this technique otherwise there will be nothing to attatch your outter skirt/pick-ups to, hopefully you will understand once you get to the step of creating the pick-ups**




Pick it up (hence the term pick-ups) and hold it up against lining.


 

Now you will make a pick up between the first two that you have made. Grab the tip of the flounce in between your first two pick ups.



Pick it up



Pin it to the lining. Again make sure you like the way it drapes and make sure it drapes evenly between the first two pick-ups
